X60 issues

Hi,

We deeply understand the frustration you and your neighbors are experiencing. This sudden, loud noise is truly unacceptable.

The popping noise issue you described with the X40 is consistent with some feedback we've received on other models. This is often related to the initialization process when the device wakes up from standby.

We recommend trying the following steps:

Reset the device to factory settings to return it to its default state.

In Settings on the official app, find the "IR Passthrough" option and make sure it's turned off.

Also, set the system beep volume to the lowest setting.

Your patience and detailed feedback are crucial to us. We hope the above steps will immediately improve your experience, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding while we address the underlying issue.

Happy exploration! 🙌
Thanks for the suggestions, and the reply is always fast, but I think you need to stop blaming settings on the device, none of the above ever works, and has no effect. This is a system, hardware or software fault, needs to fixed by a firmware update or recalls. You wouldn't get this on Sony or Samsung devices etc.

The Skywave series is a good bit of kit and a massive improvement on the old stuff which was poor so hopefully a software update etc and fix this
Thanks

Thank you very much for your feedback. Please be assured that providing a temporary mitigation is not our ultimate goal. Our engineering team is currently actively analyzing the root cause and working on a permanent firmware fix. We hope to release this fix via a subsequent OTA update.

Your patience and detailed feedback are extremely important to us, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding while we address the underlying issue. 🙏

I tried resetting my soundbar. Skywave x60. And it did not help. It happens randomly when you switch inputs or when you turn the soundbar off and then on. It blasts your ears with sound that's tripled to what you have it set
