X50 Display always on?

Just got an X50 and so far am happy with it except for one annoying feature. The LED display always stays on. You can turn it off completely using the App however, as soon as you make an adjustment, it turns back on again and stays on (for me, constantly showing "EARC"). Is there any fix for this? If anything, it should come on when making level adjustments then turn off by itself after a few seconds.

Hi!

We are very pleased that you are satisfied with the overall performance of the X50.

Currently, the "Screen Off" function via the app is the primary way to control the display. While, as you mentioned, it may light up again upon the next use, this is the only control method under the current firmware version.

We will report this issue to our product development team for evaluation and fix in a future firmware update. We are working hard to improve our product, and your patience and understanding are invaluable to us.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks for the response. This issue definitely needs to be addressed and it's hard to believe no one caught this on your end. You have an option to turn it off but it goes right back on and stays on so we have to stare at a display right below our TV screen. Constantly. It may seem like a nitpick but it disrupts the whole experience. I have a piece of black paper covering it up right now which is ridiculous.

In future updates, we will strive to implement more logical behavior: the display should light up upon receiving an operation command (such as adjusting the volume) and automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity.

Thank you for your patience and valuable feedback. Happy exploring!
