After considering the X series for two days, I finally decided on the X40. For someone like me who wants upward-firing speakers, prefers a wireless setup, and doesn't want to spend too much, it's truly the perfect choice. ( btw. I bought this for about $300. My original budget was $500, and with the $200 I saved, I went ahead that same night and bought my wife 4 Tom Ford lipsticks. She was very happy.)

I took a photo of the X40 on my patio because I felt it matched the Skywave theme perfectly.



After using the X40 for a week, I really like it. I mainly use it for watching movies, the surround effect is powerful, the sound details good, and the bass is more than sufficient.
They say the X70 10inch sub bass is several times stronger than this one. I can hardly imagine if I used the X70, I might end up disturbing my neighbors LOL.
And I think the upward-firing speakers are great too, I can clearly feel the sound coming from above, especially during scenes with rain or airplanes.

Thanks to Ultimea for helping me upgrade my setup while saving some money haha. I really don't want to spend over $1,000 on another brand for this.

That’s such a smart pick! The X40 really seems like the sweet spot between features and budget. Love how you managed to save money and respect for the smart move with the lipstick gift too .

Totally agree on the upward-firing speakers, they make a huge difference in Atmos effects. Can only imagine how crazy the X70 must feel with that massive 10-inch sub.

Après avoir envisagé la série X pendant deux jours, j'ai finalement opté pour le X40. Pour quelqu'un comme moi qui recherche des enceintes orientées vers le haut, privilégie une configuration sans fil et ne souhaite pas dépenser trop cher, c'est vraiment le choix idéal. (Au fait, je l'ai acheté pour environ 300 $. Mon budget initial était de 500 $, et avec les 200 $ économisés, j'ai acheté le soir même quatre rouges à lèvres Tom Ford à ma femme. Elle était ravie.)

J'ai pris une photo du X40 sur ma terrasse car je sentais qu'il correspondait parfaitement au thème Skywave.

Après une semaine d'utilisation du X40, je l'apprécie vraiment. Je l'utilise principalement pour regarder des films. L'effet surround est puissant, le son est bien détaillé et les basses sont amplement suffisantes.
On dit que le caisson de basses du X70 10 pouces est bien plus puissant que celui-ci. J'ai du mal à imaginer qu'en utilisant le X70, je risque de déranger mes voisins ! MDR.
Et je pense que les haut-parleurs orientés vers le haut sont également excellents, je peux clairement sentir le son venant d'en haut, en particulier lors de scènes avec de la pluie ou des avions.

Merci à Ultimea de m'avoir aidé à améliorer mon installation tout en économisant de l'argent ! Je ne veux vraiment pas dépenser plus de 1 000 $ pour une autre marque pour ça.

Salut, vous avez fait un bon choix et j'avoue vous envié un petit peu car l'ambiance cinéma à la maison est très satisfaisante. En plus, madame peu maintenant vous couvrir de sans problème .

This is my second one, the first was a 5.1 setup, but this one is obviously so much better.
