Refurbished products and shipping

I am on the way of ordering a D80 and thinking about the refurbished products offered in the store, and I would like to know what kind of products they are.

In my area, stores often have products called "B-Ware", which means products that already have been at a customer and sent back for various reason. In best case they are just opened once and sent back immediately because it wasn't what the customer expected.

Is this also the case for refurbished products from Ultimea, meaning it is possible that I get a totally new product that was just unpacked once, or are all refurbished products ones that had a technical defect and got repaired? (Both would be ok for me, I just want to know.)

My reasoning for refurbished products would be beside the financial aspect the ecological reasons, as it would help reducing waste.

And have refurbished products the same warranty conditions as new ones or is there any difference?

Regarding the origin and quality of Ultimea refurbished products:
You may receive a brand-new product that has only been unpacked once, or you may receive a product that has a technical defect and has been repaired.

Refurbishment Process (regardless of origin):
Comprehensive Inspection: Each product undergoes a comprehensive functional test to ensure performance at like-new standards.
Deep Cleaning and Disinfection: A thorough exterior cleaning and internal disinfection are performed to ensure hygiene and aesthetics.
Consumable Replacement: All consumable parts (such as batteries and certain cables) are replaced.
Repackaging: The product is shipped in a brand-new box (which may be labeled "Refurbished" or "Eco-Packaged") and includes all standard accessories (cables, remote control, manual, etc.).

It's entirely possible that you'll receive a device that has only been unpacked but is essentially new. Even repaired products maintain the same standards and performance as our stringent new product standards.

Refurbished products have different warranty terms than new products and only have a three-month warranty. If a problem arises, you can exchange them for a similar refurbished product.

Choosing refurbished products is a smart, economical, and environmentally friendly decision. Not only will you receive a product that performs as expected at a lower price, but you'll also be contributing to reducing e-waste, which aligns perfectly with Ultimea's commitment to sustainability.

If you decide to order a refurbished Poseidon D80, you can do so with confidence. It's an excellent choice for experiencing high-quality audio while also being environmentally friendly.

We hope this information helps you make your decision! If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. 🙌

Yes brother, going for refurbished products directly from the brand is always the best choice. We save a good amount of money and still have the brand trust, since it’s not third-party refurbished. I also go for refurbished sometimes myself, if the price difference compared to new is really worth it.

I decided to take a chance and my first purchase was a refurbished Poseidon D60. I was a little skeptical, but the price was too good to pass up. The soundbar arrived incredibly fast, and the packaging immediately put my mind at ease. It came in its original box, which was then placed inside another sturdy shipping box for extra protection. Honestly, if I hadn't been the one to specifically select the refurbished option in the Ultimea webstore, I would have sworn it was brand new. The unit was in absolutely mint condition—not a single scratch or scuff. Everything was packed perfectly, just as you'd expect from a factory-sealed product. For anyone worried about the quality of their refurbished gear, my experience was flawless. It was a fantastic purchase decision, and I feel like I got an incredible deal. Highly recommended!
