Soundbar POSEIDON D80 HDMI eARC Issue

I recently purchased the POSEIDON D80 and connected it to my Samsung The Frame TV via HDMI eARC, with an NVIDIA Shield media player connected to the soundbar’s HDMI IN. Initially, everything worked fine during setup.
However, after updating to firmware v33 through the app, the HDMI eARC connection stopped working completely. The TV no longer detected the soundbar, even though all connections were correct. I tried:
✔ Reconnecting cables – No change
✔ Connecting only TV > Poseidon D80 – Still not working
✔ Using Optical (Optical worked, but not my preferred setup)
At this point, I was frustrated and reached out to ULTIMEA support. They responded promptly and suggested installing firmware v34.
Solution: After updating to v34, everything started working again! My NVIDIA Shield is now connected to the HDMI IN port of the POSEIDON D80, which is then linked to the eARC port on the TV, and the system functions perfectly.
A big shoutout to ULTIMEA support for their assistance in resolving the issue! If anyone else encounters this problem, make sure to check for the latest firmware updates.
Hope this helps!

I have the same issue, but with the difference that the problem started for me after updating to firmware version V37 (the latest version currently). I’ve contacted support but haven’t received a solution yet.

J'ai le même problème, mais il a commencé après la mise à jour vers la version V37 (la dernière version actuellement). J'ai contacté l'assistance, mais je n'ai pas encore reçu de solution.
Peut être essayer avec la version

How do i Downgrade to Version V34?
Hi

Connect the soundbar and press the “Surround” button for a few seconds — something like V143 will appear. Make a note of that number.

On the official ULTIMEA support portal, you’ll find files like Poseidon‑D60‑Customized‑Software‑V139.zip, V109, V83…, or for Nova S50: V131, V98, V59.

Use an empty USB drive (≤ 128 GB) formatted in FAT32. Copy the .zip file without extracting it directly to the root directory.

Turn on the soundbar.
Insert the USB into the rear port.

The display should show “WAITING”; the installation will start automatically.

Once completed, the soundbar will go into standby mode.
Verify the installed version:
  • Press the “Surround” button again for a few seconds. If it shows V139 (or the version you installed), the process was successful.

Hope it works for you! 🤗🤗

You mean that Portal?

I cant find any downloadable files there for the Poseidon D80. Just a manual for the App download.

I got a response from ULTIMEA Support. Apparently, the HDMI module didn’t update properly during the last firmware push (V37). They've now re-pushed the firmware to my app – the version is listed as V38.

I installed the update and HDMI ARC is now working again as expected!

If anyone else runs into the same issue, I recommend contacting their support – they were quick and helpful.
