I am honestly quite surprised how good the Poseidon D60 sounds. This system is big enough for my small living room.
Now i'm looking for a bigger Dolby Atmos System for my outdoor cinema. I dont know if i should get the normal D80 or D80 Boom.

I would recommend purchasing the D80 Boom, especially since it's an upgrade from the D80 for the same price. So, grab the D80 Boom and enjoy your movies and all kinds of audio entertainment with the added benefit of BassMax technology.

It already sounds good with the Poseidon D60

I have the D80 and I can tell you it's crazy, assuming that the D80 boom will have an extra 33% of low frequency response, it is recommended.

La grande différence entre les 2 systèmes D70/D80 est le fameux Dolby Atmos qui donnent encore plus l'effet d'être dans le film que l'on regarde. Une meilleure immersion. Moi j'adore ça. Je n'ai que le Poseidon D60, donc un 5.1 et déjà il est très enveloppant et immersif. J'imagine qu'avec le Dolby Atmos et 7.1 le Poseidon D80 Boom doit être hyper agréable à écouter, d'autant plus avec une amélioration de +30% de bass . Ça doit être BOOM BOOM

Leongino have you compared your Poseidon D80 with Nova S90? There are a lot of queries on the internet with such a comparison but I did not find a reliable comparison and bought the S90.

I am very satisfied. This soundbar sounds really great. Previously, I had Nova S80, but with each new firmware version, there were more and more crackling noises in the rear speakers, while the original firmware version played very quietly in the back. I replaced the S80 with the S90, and there is a big difference, especially in the rear speakers. Recently, I tested tracks recorded specifically for this type of equipment (multichannel tracks), and the sound is WOW! The same goes for movies that support Dolby Atmos! The weakest point of the set is the remote control. The EQ on the remote doesn’t work at all. There is no audible difference after changing the settings. I’m waiting for Ultimea to release an app for the S90 like they have for the Poseidon.

That is a negative point, not being able to equalize through an application, I have equalized the D80 to my liking and the truth is that it is a joy, let's see if ULTIMEA updates and you can have that little extra that although it may not seem like it, is important.

Yes, DAP can be turned on/off with a remote control. I installed an upgrade v190 on Friday and tested over the weekend. In my opinion, it improves the sound in both movies, games and listening to music. The sound seems cleaner. High tones can be heard even better.
