Everyone has different speaker placement and listening positions. That's why I'd like to have individual speaker volume controls, which would be incredibly useful. In my case, I felt the center volume was too loud, and the side surround speakers were also louder than the rear surround speakers. I'd like to be able to customize the balance of all of this.

Thank you for sharing. Sorry, at present, only 4 surround speakers can be adjusted at the same time. You can use the surround volume adjustment on the remote control, which has a range of +-6dB, but it can only achieve the overall surround volume change. It is temporarily unable to distinguish the front and rear surrounds.

Yes, I know. I know. That's why I'm asking for individual speaker volume controls.

You look like you need quad channel system, like I asked on community for all users, with small/medium room or space like your Hope ultimae take a risk and forge that idea into reality in the future.

Actually, my dream home theater system would be something like the Sony HT-A9 or the BRAVIA Theater Quad. Quad-channel systems are high-end systems on a completely different level from soundbars, and the two aren't really comparable. If Ultimea were to develop a quad-channel system, it would be incomparable to any of their current soundbars, and it would likely cost twice as much as their current flagships. Even at double the price, it would still be very competitively priced in the market, as current quad-channel systems cost over $1,500. However, I doubt Ultimea will develop a quad-channel system. It would require significant development costs and time. Even if they do develop one, it would likely be the final product in Ultimea's home theater lineup.

I can not agree with that. Yes Sony Quad channel is costly even and you need buy sub separately, other side Hisense is much cheaper but yea still over 1000$ and look at Samsung soundbar system and other high-end devices, cost much more than 2000$ and yet Ultimea create a Line of their own Soundbar system, that Sound very good and for the price that most User can afford.
Other brands focus can play many formats not only Dolby Atmos and generic Surround and they have many tech features or more complicated like automatically adjusted all Speakers by using Mic, something that Ultimea dont have at all, well users need to pay in the price of the device. Ultimea no need to create Insane complicate Quad channel system but simple with good HUB similar to Hisense give us little more settings in the app like change volume of the single unit that users asking right now, for their Ultimea system.

I have hope that Ultimea is the Company that will beat most of the brands in the future, if they will show what they can do.
I think they can afford to create a quad system, is not a NASA rocket with the right price, basic features that users asks and

Thank you so much for sharing your passionate and insightful perspective! 🙏 You raise some very pertinent points about the soundbar market, and your vision for Ultimea's potential is inspiring. Ultimea has always focused on affordability without sacrificing core sound quality.

Your calls for basic features like individual speaker volume control are exactly what brands need to hear. These subtle tweaks can make a huge difference in daily use. We'll keep fighting and improving.

Happy exploration!
Defining value, defining sound.

I was going to get another Sony until I decided to take a risk with Ultimea (£550 BRAVIA Theatre System 6 compared to £338 Apollo S9). I'm happy with the purchase so far but there is a big gulf between functionality on top of the range Ultimea kit and the ten year old Sony system I'm replacing. In Sony's favour that is, including better frequency response range.

People who buy big systems want either complete out of the box plug and play or, to be able to fiddle with everything to get that perfect sound for them. Your systems are good but they don't appeal to that latter group currently.

I'm going to wait a month or two before reviewing on trust pilot to see how it goes but I'm thinking four starts right now just because the competition gives more functions; I have no need for ridiculous sound levels, I just want quality, adjustable sound.

Thank you for trying the Ultimea and sharing your candid and valuable initial experience! 🎧
We take the feature gaps you mentioned with Sony (especially in frequency response range and in-depth tuning options) very seriously—they're areas we're continuously working to improve. 🔧

We also fully understand your desire to wait a month or two before leaving a review; your rigorous approach is highly respected! We look forward to seeing your professional and engaging reviews in the future. 🙏

I have found the sound more pleasing in bluetooth mode but it always seems to default back to the eARC input. I haven't tried unplugging the HDMI yet but will it come out of standby if I am just using bluetooth and no HDMI or optical input?

Even when connected to Bluetooth, it will enter standby mode. If there's no signal input on any channel for 15 minutes, it will automatically enter standby mode. You can also set the standby time in the app.

I hope this helps. Happy exploring!

No, you miss understand the question. When I turn off and on again, it doesn't stay in bluetooth channel, it turns back to the HDMI input. Is there any way to make it default to bluetooth when I turn on?

Hi,Nutron

You need to disconnect the HDMI/opt and other channels so that the default boot channel is Bluetooth. That means you need to disconnect these cables. See if this helps. Looking forward to your reply.
