How to make Solo B30 wake up with the same input selected (opt)?

Firstly, the Solo B30 enters a low-power mode after 15 minutes of inactivity and playback. Regarding your "unable to remember the last input source" issue, we suggest trying some settings to improve the experience.

Keep Connected: Ensure your computer is connected to the B30 via an optical fiber (Opt) cable.

Disable Other Signals: This is the most crucial step. In your computer's Windows sound settings, set the default output device to your computer monitor or the motherboard's built-in audio output (i.e., the optical source), and disable the USB audio output of your computer's motherboard/sound card. This ensures that the B30 only detects a valid signal from the optical fiber when powered on, and automatically switches to it.

Other users have also purchased master-controlled smart power strips. Plug the computer into the "master" port and the Solo B30 into the "controlled" port. When the computer is turned on, the power strip automatically powers on the B30; when the computer is turned off, the B30 automatically powers off. This operation enables "one-click switching of all devices".

my Solo is connected to my PS with optical toslink cable.
I have no other sound devices active in windows (have disabled them all)
both of the devices (soundbar and computer) are disconnected from power for the night
In the morning I switch power on. soundbar stays off, when switched on with remote, i have to manually change the input to OPT

i have 2 setting in the app: Auto Standby and Auto Turn Off. can u explain what they do?

Auto Standby: When this function is enabled, the soundbar continuously monitors the input audio signal. If no audio signal is detected for a period of time, it will automatically enter standby mode (the indicator light changes color or turns off, but it operates in a low-power state).

Auto Turn Off: When this function is enabled, the soundbar also monitors the audio signal. If there is no signal within a set time, it will completely shut off the power, just like turning off the device with a remote control. The next time you use it, you must press the power button on the remote control to turn it on.

The Solo B30 does not remember the input source state before a complete power outage. Each cold start will restore it to the default initial state. Try leaving it in standby mode without disconnecting the power. See if it automatically connects to the last used input source in this "soft shutdown" state.
