Soundbar Feature Idea: Volume Limiter for the Poseidon D80 BoOm 🧐

Hi ULTIMEA family,

I’ve been enjoying my Poseidon D80 BoOm for a while now, and I really love the power and immersive sound it delivers .

However, I’ve noticed that when I want to use the soundbar at low volumes (for example, late at night or just for background sound), the volume steps can feel a bit too jumpy.

My idea is to add a volume limiter option in the app. For example: you could set a maximum level of 40%, and within that range the volume steps would be much finer. This would allow for much smoother and more precise control.

What do you think?
  • Would a volume limiter be useful for you?
  • In what situations would it make the biggest difference (movies at night, background music, etc.)?
  • Would you add any other control options to the app?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Together we could shape some really cool ideas to make the Poseidon even better

The same thing happens to me and if you raise and lower the volume with the application, it is not fine, it goes up to very high levels, this could be solved in an update, I understand.

Thank you so much for your enjoyment of the Poseidon D80 Boom and your thoughtful suggestions! 🎧✨

Your suggestion for a volume limiter would provide more granular control at lower volumes, especially for nighttime listening, creating background ambiance, or when you don't want to wake up nearby people. In these situations, smoother, more precise volume adjustments would benefit many users.

The app now supports volume control using plus and minus buttons. The volume scale is 0-100. Even if you set the maximum volume to 40%, you're still adjusting from 0-40, and the granularity is 1 level increments.
The app's preset EQ includes a Night mode, with a default volume of 5. The volume you set in Night mode is saved, and the next time you use Night mode, the volume you set will be used again.

We've shared your ideas with our product and software teams. Your feedback will be heard loud and clear. 🔈💡
In the meantime, we'd love to share your feedback with the entire community:

What do you think?
✅ Is the volume limiter or "night mode" fine-tuning useful to you?
✅ When do you use it most often? (e.g., late-night movies, music while working, etc.)
✅ What other app control features would you like to see?

Leave us a comment in the comments section to keep the ideas coming!
