Or just turned on. It's extremely loud. Near 20. TV and soundbar is set to 6.
It is extremely frustrating. When you happen to turn it off and back on while watching something. It's so loud. Everybody in my house can hear it. And they aren't happy when it happens. And a system reset does not work.

This is my final issue, Out of 3 ,with the skywave X60 that severely need to be fixed.
(1. Both surround channels fire even the left or right channel fires, I know this is being worked on and I will wait. 2. When when I use headphones on my Xbox, the soundbar turns off and causes my TV screen to go black for 5 to 10 seconds. Can't find any option anywhere to fix this. Suggestions were made in another thread . They don't work. Series x, TCL R635. 3. This is the third)

Something like this, And the sound going to 20 when turned on should never happen, ever When you're paying around $600 for a sound system. I know it's been posted in other threads but I wanted to make it dedicated thread.

Regarding the popping sound and abnormal volume issues upon startup:

This is currently our engineering team's highest priority. A new firmware version designed to address this issue at its root is currently undergoing intensive internal testing. Our goal is to ensure that this update is stable and effective enough to completely resolve this persistent problem before pushing it to all users. A temporary solution: You might try turning off the Xupmix before shutting down the system; other users have avoided the popping sound problem by doing so.

We cannot fully express our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused, but we are using all our technical resources. Please give us a little more time; we will provide you with the stable product experience you deserve through a firmware update.

We sincerely thank you again for your patience and continued feedback.

No problem

Looks like this a common issue now, my x40 also does the loud turn on. No settings make a difference, frantic grab the remote to zero the volume before it plays! If not, the family, the neighbours and half the street gets woken up

I don't understand why this doesn't happen to me. I have the x40 and I don't have any of the problems you're talking about 😕
