Initial Impressions: ULTIMEA Poseidon D80 Boom 🔊

Just wanted to drop my two cents after setting up the new Poseidon D80 Boom, and honestly, this thing is legit. The build quality feels super solid, totally punching above its price point.

The setup was a breeze: Seriously, anyone can do it. It’s all plug-and-play, and the remote is actually awesome - it has dedicated buttons for Bass, Treble, etc., so no digging through menus.

Dolby Atmos is Insane: Movies and games are completely next-level. The 7.1 surround is immersive, dialogue is crystal clear, and the wireless sub brings the serious rumble. If you game or watch movies, just buy it.
The MVP: X-Upmix: This feature is my new favorite thing. It takes regular stereo audio (like from my Nintendo Switch 2 and pumps it out in full surround sound. It literally made games like Zelda and Mario Kart feel more epic.
The only tiny hitch (Music): Out of the box, music was a bit thin for my taste. BUT, you can totally customize the EQ. I'm still dialing in the perfect settings, but I'm confident I'll get there. It’s a tinkerer’s toy, which I love.

Fantastic review, thank you for sharing this honest opinion with us. From my own experience, I can attest that the D80 Boom is an incredible piece of equipment.

Je voulais juste donner mon avis après avoir installé la nouvelle enceinte Poseidon D80 Boom , et honnêtement, elle est vraiment top. La qualité de fabrication est super solide, et ses performances sont largement supérieures à ce que son prix laisse présager.

L'installation est un jeu d'enfant : vraiment, tout le monde peut le faire. C'est du plug-and-play, et la télécommande est vraiment géniale : elle possède des boutons dédiés aux basses, aux aigus, etc., donc pas besoin de naviguer dans les menus.

Dolby Atmos, c'est tout simplement incroyable : films et jeux passent à un niveau supérieur. Le son surround 7.1 est immersif, les dialogues sont d'une clarté cristalline et le caisson de basses sans fil offre des basses puissantes. Si vous jouez ou regardez des films, foncez !
Le point fort : X-Upmix : Cette fonctionnalité est devenue ma préférée. Elle transforme un signal audio stéréo classique (comme celui de ma Nintendo Switch 2) en un son surround immersif. Elle a littéralement donné une dimension épique à des jeux comme Zelda et Mario Kart.
Le seul petit bémol (Musique) : par défaut, le son était un peu léger à mon goût. MAIS, l’égaliseur est entièrement personnalisable. Je suis encore en train de trouver les réglages parfaits, mais je suis sûr d’y arriver. C’est un vrai jouet pour bidouilleurs, et j’adore ça.
